Penny Little

Penny Little, coordinating director of People to People, is an author, artist, music, film and event producer.

Event Producer: Penny was part of the production team for Beautiful Dying Expo at the San Diego Convention Center.  Penny was a co-producer of the Awakened World Film Festival in Santa Barbara, 2014. In 2016, she co-produced two events in Tokyo for American artist Howard Lamar, for philanthropy and art. She has facilitated creative arts workshops – music, drama, dance, and fine arts – for children and adults in Japan, the UK, and the US.  She is currently producing INSPIRE Pop-Up events featuring artists, artisans, authors and entrepreneurs.

Filmmaker: Penny has directed and produced shorts and feature documentaries including the awarding winning “Electile Dysfunction,” “911 Dust and Deceit” “Healing Journey.”  “9/11 Dust and Deceit” featured in the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, toured Europe to packed houses, and was featured in special events and theaters in New York City.

Musician: Penny was signed as a singer songwriter to Warner Brothers UK.  Her Bach to Rock program with guitarist Ben Hurley toured Hawaii schools and hospitals. Her first album “In a Light Garden” was released on Global Pacific Records, later picked up by Columbia Music. She has recorded on numerous albums and toured the US, UK, Europe, and Japan with various musical projects of her own and others.  Penny and her husband Nik Green recorded, performed and toured as The Away Team, releasing several albums.   After Nik’s death, Penny completed Nik’s album “Now and Ever Shall Be.” She is currently working on her own new album project, to be released in early 2020.

Penny has also worked with Gang Prevention Through the Arts, Artists in the Schools, Summer Solstice Celebration, the Association for Global New Thought, Empowerment Project, Santa Barbara Dance Alliance, Angels Bearing Gifts, and numerous non-profits to produce events, videos and messaging for good causes.
